the land... wow. this is what war does to a beautiful region. desecrated bosnian forests... dead civilians... a sharply grey scene when a father helps his child hop skip the way home over det wires. the same det wires later explode and kill soldiers, but the simple acceptance of a violence-permeated life kept the child and the father alive. | | |
| i would like to note that baseball is a statistically unrewarding game in which players wear unflattering uniforms, spend a lot of time waiting, and can do their utmost and still lose because of one person fouling up.
that said, it's fun to video and obviously builds comraderie in a team. it also ranks higher than football on the food chain. | | |
